This is not my usual genre but I added it for a diversion and was pleasantly surprised. I found the author's writing style to be relatable and the back story complex. Great character development and a few surprises along the way! Look forward to more in this series!
Been a while since I've read a novel, but this book is great, it's a great fantasy novel that keeps you locked in, almost reminds me of the Sword of Truth series
This book of Steve Kaide is a refreshing escape from every day life...We go about life thinking we are the only ones... Steve opens our minds with the possibility and shows us we may out be alone. The idea that there are other worlds...other people we share what we call Earth .... how many times do we glance over at something ... and we think ... did I see what I thought I saw?? Maybe we did and maybe we didn't...I love the humor...the change of events....and names for his characters . Truly a very creative author with an imagination to match!! Thank you and I will be waiting for Mr. Kaides' next adventure....Bravo!!!
What I can say about this book is that it is a fine example of fantasy mixed up in what we think of as the real world. The hero is believable. The heroine is beautiful. As matter of fact, she's tougher than the hero! They're fighting against what appears to be insurmountable odds. But this fight hasn't taken place yet as the book stops at just the beginning of what will probably be a great fantasy novel just as this one has been. I can't wait to find the sequel and hopefully the sequel of the sequel of the sequel of the sequel.
Crazy suspenseful book and great story. So not what I expected, it grabbed my interest from the first page and kept it going. Excellent writing helps, and this is a very well-written thought-out book. I don't want to give details, as that is half the fun - to get to discover the plot as you read - but I will say for anyone who loves a bit of mystery and science fiction intertwined with twists and turns the whole way through - you'll enjoy this novel.
Keeper of the Well definitely delivers - not only is the well kept, but it's kept well! With inspiration from mind-bending sci-fi works like The Matrix mixed with dramatic fantasy, Keeper of the Well is a fast paced wild ride that will tighten your britches. Buckle up!
KEEPER OF THE WELL is an epic fantasy that is truly epic. The author built a believable world with characters you love (the awesome guys) and characters you hate (the naughty guys). It's a fun world full of inspiration, magic, mysteries, super evil, and secrets. I'm looking forward to continuing the series when it's out!

A countless number of subsequent stories could potentially stem from this one, so I hope we see more of the same from this author.
